إبراهيم بن طهمان بن شعيب الهروي الخراساني، أبو سعيد: حافظ، من كبارهم في خراسان.
ولد في هراة.
وأقام في نيسابور وبغداد، وتوفي بنيسابور، وقيل: بمكة.
قال فيه الفيروز آبادي: من أئمة الاسلام، على إرجاء فيه.
وقيل: رجع عن الإرجاء.
ونقل عن أبي زرعة: كنت عند أحمد بن حنبل، فذكر إبراهيم بن طهمان، وكان متكئا من علة، فجلس وقال: لا ينبغي أن يذكر الصالحون فيتكأ.
