زيد بن عبد الله بن مسعود بن رفاعة، أبو الخير الهاشمي: أحد مؤلفي (رسائل إخوان الصفا) كان في الري، وأقام بالبصرة زمنا طويلا.
واعتقد رأي الفلاسفة. أثنى عليه أبو حيان التوحيدي، ووصفه باتّقاد الذهن والتبصر في الآراء والتصرف في كل فن. وقال الذهبي: «أبو الخير، لا صبحه الله بخير! له كتاب (أربعين حديثا) باطلة» . وقال ابن حجر العسقلاني: «معروف بوضع الحديث» ، على فلسفة فيه. وكان معاصرا للصاحب ابن عباد. وفي كتاب (الإمتاع والمؤانسة) : «زعم ابن رفاعة وأصحابه أنه متى انتظمت الفلسفة اليونانية والشريعة العربية فقد حصل الكمال». ومن كتبه (جوامع إصلاح المنطق - ط)
