واعظ، عارف بالحديث. توفي بدمشق.
له (كنز الراغبين العفاة في الرمز إلى المولد المحمدي والوفاة - خ) في سوهاج (104 حديث) و (تعليق - خ) على الترغيب والترهيب للمنذري، في الأزهرية. و (جواب الناجي عن الناسخ والمنسوخ، هل يمكن جمعه - خ) في التيمورية، و (عجالة الاملاء - خ) في تمكروت، أما شهرته بالناجي، فقيل: لأنه كان حنبليا وتحول شافعيا!
